This is an essential exercise for any airport to establish what is happening in and around the airfield now, identify deficiencies in operations, equipment, communications, training etc.
Such an exercise will enable a 5 year plan to be drawn up that will improve bird & wildlife control effectively and efficiently for years to come.
The audit will take up to two days during which time the audit team will meet with: Operations Staff, Fire Service, Air Traffic Control and Lands Manager.
The audit team will inspect available records, equipment and airfield lands. A report to include recommendations will be written and submitted to the airport.
